On April 10 we held our Annual General Meeting at 6 pm. These are the Executive elected for the 2026-27 dance season:

Treasurer: Eileen Szakacs

Webmaster and Soc. Media Rep: Jake Scheffer
Social convenors Kelly Osund and Faye Malsbury
During the AGM we had pizza and pie. We held a dance after the meeting.
On April 24, the last dance of our season, we held a graduation ceremony for our new dancers. They were presented with certificates and cake was served.
On May 22nd we are holding A Taste of Square Dancing, where people can come and learn a few basic steps. It’s a chance to sample what square dancing is all about. The cost of this dance is $5. We invite anyone interested in square dancing to join us at Duggan Hall, located at 3728 106 St. NW. The dance starts at 7 pm.

Country Sunshiners Club News - April 1, 2026On March 6th we held singing call night, consisting of only singing calls. A few weeks before the dance,
we posted a list of singing calls on the community hall wall. Dancers were asked to vote for their favourites. Murray called to the most popular songs. On March 27th we held our high tea dance. Dancers dressed in their finery. At the end of the evening, we served an English-style high tea. On April 10th we will be holding our Annual General Meeting at 6:00 PM. This will be followed by a Mainstream dance at 7:30 PM. On April 3rd we will not be having a dance, as this is Good Friday. We also will not be having a dance on April 17th, as the hall is not available. But we will be having a dance on April 24th. We invite you to come and dance with us at Duggan Hall, located at 3728 106 St. NW every Friday evening at 7 PM. Continue to check our website at www.countrysunshiners.com.
